Training

Here at Loomer Medical, our first priority is our clients.

This is why we take every step towards ensuring that all of our staff are fully trained, not only in care but in quality, person-centred care.

Our employees are offered a fully comprehensive course of in house training to ensure that our carers are prepared for any eventuality.

All of our office staff are also trained in the basics of care should anything happen whilst they are at one of our facilities with patients and clients around.

As well as full training, we also offer the opportunity to undertake fully funded NCFE courses and NVQs in association with local colleges and educational establishments.

Feedback

"I feel confident I have gained the knowledge I need..."

Really enjoyed the training process. The weeks training was a big pro for me going with Austin Ben as I have no specific previous care experience. The trainer was a great teacher and everyone really enjoyed the week. We all got involved and had in depth discussions about subjects learnt. It was good to have the First Aid and People Movers training in a different location as it gave a bit of variation and broke up the week. I feel confident I have gained the knowledge I need to start shadowing. Thank you Austin Ben for this week – its been brilliant!

"...could not ask for a better trainer..."

The training was excellent – could not ask for a better trainer. Anything I was unsure of, they explained in a way I could understand. The induction was easy to understand and I know in the future if I am unsure of anything I will be certain to call without hesitation.

"The training was excellent, very clear and easy to understand..."

I have been really happy with the whole recruitment process starting from the interview. Everyone has been really helpful, nice, friendly and supportive. They have communicated really well and explained things really well. I get the sense that this is a fantastic company to work for that is good in every sense. The training was excellent, very clear and easy to understand, very in depth and equally important. I have gained a lot of useful knowledge and a lot of help and support has been given to me. The trainer was brilliant and very knowledgeable, they could answer any question asked. I am really excited to be joining this company!
