Meet the Team
Registered Manager
With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the care sector, Siobhan achieved her Registered Managers qualification (level 5 in health and social care for adults, young people and children) and CQC registration to become the Registered Manager of Austin Ben in 2018.
Since then, working alongside the nominated individual, the service has grown and developed to provide quality care in the Staffordshire and surrounding areas.
Registered Nurses
Our registered nurses educate, train and develop our complex care staff to enable the highest standards of care. These highly skilled individuals mentor the complex teams initially in the training centre, then whilst they are on shift, ensuring clinical competence to perform their roles.
Care Co-Ordinators
The team of experienced care co-ordinators, support the day to day running of the service, ranging from rostering to the delivery of hands on care. The coordination team will conduct the initial assessment (devising person centred care plans and risk assessments) and will answer any questions relating to the package of care. They offer support with all health needs including physical, emotional or psychological whilst making any professional referrals that may be required. These individuals are the carers line managers, doing supervisions and ensuring competence.
Healthcare Assistants (Domiciliary and Complex)
All Healthcare staff are trained via the accredited training centre, inducted and mentored to enable them to fulfil their role to the highest standard possible.
As an organisation, we tailor each person's on-boarding to suit their skills and knowledge whilst being mentored by an experienced colleague. All healthcare assistants support service users with all aspects of daily living - including medication management, personal care, socialisation, continence care, nutrition / hydration needs and anything else that is stipulated in the personalised care plan.
These individuals are responsible for upholding respect and dignity whilst promoting independence.
Care Facilitators
This team manages all complex care packages and the complex care staff. As part of their role, they compile all person centred care plans and risk assessments, and are trained to a high standard in all complex health conditions. Working in partnership with external bodies, they act as a point of contact for all service users, professionals and complex carers - this enables a personalised approach.
Business Administrator
The administration team supports all aspects of the business. From answering telephone calls and signposting to the appropriate department, the team is always happy to help with queries.
